First place I stop when I come into town!! The truffle fires are a MUST-- and ask for spicey sauce! The staff treats you like they have known you forever! Can't go wrong! #trufflefriesrule
Yummy! Hmmmm. Yummy! I had the fresh pacific salmon. I asked fit it to be cooked medium rare and it was prefect! I have eaten there many times over the years. In the past it wasn't great. But for the last several years I have always liked my meals.
Amazing! So much great food it's tempting to just eat through entire menu...salads, scallops, the best lamb I've ever had. Chef Steve is a gracious, talented and enthusiastic host. All this and great view and service...we are so lucky to have New Leaf here on Orcas!!!�
Everything we had here was absolutely top-notch, from the pistachio-encrusted cheese salad and truffle fries we had as starters, to the cauliflower "steak", king salmon, and lamb entrées. Cooked to perfection, deliciously prepared, and oh my god the dessert! We only tried the apple upside-down cake with pecan ice cream as we were quite full, but it's probably the best we've ever had, anywhere. HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!
Not that many restaurants in Eastsound and was recommended by a local. The food was delicious and would love to try more. It was Mothers Day and was fully booked. Lucky to be able to get a table near the bar.
Food was great and better than the service. I do not like sitting and watching staff clear a table for people who left when our dirty plates were not cleared away for at least 15 minutes... Also the meal was a bit pricey considering the location.
This was our first time to Orcas island. We were really looking forward to breakfast at the New Leaf because we read so many great reviews. I have to say that we were greatly disappointed. I have never been to any breakfast restaurant that served store bought frozen deep fried tater tots, are you kidding me?
Breakfast, dinner and appetizers! We went 3 times during our weekend stay because it was that good!
