Let me start by saying that the check in, prep and discharge staff were great. My complaint is with the anesthesia “team” if you can call it that. I had a port in my hand for “light sedation” during my cataract surgery. No anesthesiologist spoke to me before the procedure to ask if I wanted sedation. I assumed I would get it. When rolled into surgery I coukd see things were getting underway and I asked “where is my anesthesia?” No response! I endured the entire procedure fully awake and hyperventilating. I had surgery on my finger. The team was exceptional and took very good care of me.
I’d rate it at 0 if could. Day before my surgery I was forced to pay in full or reschedule procedure. I informed them that number was incorrect and they are overcharging me. Month later I’m still waiting for refund. I had to call to even receive it because they were not going to do it on their own. If you can steer clear of this place as they are not very helpful to help fixing their own mistake.
I had hand surgery 09/24 and 11/12 of 2024 both times I received exceptional care. Dr. Fletcher and his team were outstanding. I felt at ease and taken care of. Highest recommendation !!!
I had a procedure in my shoulder on 4/22 with Dr Conte. From the moment I walked in the receptionist, nurses and Anesthesiologist knew my name. Everyone was super friendly. The facility was clean and all pre and post op procedures were clearly explained to me and the person who took me home!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone getting a procedure. My recovery has gone soo well and I attribute it to the exceptional staff at New Jersey Surgery Center!
