Donated yesterday, June 27 and so glad I did! It is an easy process, takes just a small amount of time, yet the feeling of helping others stays with you long after you've donated. Instead of downing a pint (which you can still do) consider donating a pint of blood! Someone's life is depending on you!!!

They try hard to make you feel appreciated and comfortable and at ease with the process. They are a very efficient operation and do not make you wait long between steps. The preliminary screening is now online and is much quicker. They are very attentative to your needs and never make you feel like you are high maintenance even if you are.
Usually I have trouble donating platelets since I have small veins but the staff at the New Brunswick blood center did a fantastic job! They made sure I was ok and constantly checked that my donation was going well. It was enjoyable and went faster than expected!
Thank you guys! My mother and I had a wonderful time donating and chatting it up!
