Awesome Chai I love that chai. One of the best places to get really good chai outside India. Starbuck Chai = subzero. Indian Sweet and Spice = 5+, the real deal.

I have come to this location for years. The family who sold their business to the new owners were a beautiful family and the food was always DELICIOUS! Sadly, I went in today and bought a few dishes, one included the cauliflower and potato side dish but the potatoes were RAW! When I called and asked to speak w the owner, I was hung up on. I called back and told the guy about the raw potatoes and he tried to explain that it's how the dish is served. Say what? So much for quality Indian food from this place. No, Thnku.

Even though I live in Pasadena, I like to stop by and enjoy the friendly smile behind the counter. New India Sweets and Spices is my little oasis at Fairfax and Pico. The veggie combo and chai are fantastic, and the friendly atmosphere make me feel at home.
Though limited but still you can find Indian stuffs starting from food, masala, oil, rice, wheat. The food which was prepared got a feeling of Punjabi taste. Great!!!
Great place to buy spices & goods, great tasting food items....lassi is awesome here.
