An absolutely wonderful place with an incredible staff who demonstrates caring and compassion on a daily basis. I love the home-y feeling the second you walk through the door. I also really enjoy seeing the residents all being involved in activities throughout the day. It’s truly a blessing to be able to work with some of the residents who reside here.
What a wonderful and amazing place and staff, I don’t say this because I work at Best & Beyond Spa located at the same building, but because I have had the chance to meet the staff, the location and some of the wonderful and lovely ladies who lives there, they come to our spa for self care and they always say amazing things about the place, staff and location. New Horizons is a special place. The warm family environment is obvious from your first visit. They provide both independent and assisted living options. The staff is exceptional. We feel so grateful to have found such a special place for our mom to call home.
New Horizons is a special place. The warm family environment is obvious from your first visit. They provide both independent and assisted living options. The staff is exceptional. We feel so grateful to have found such a special place for our mom to call home.
I think the whole history and structure of New Horizons as a nonprofit entity of the Cummings Foundation lets it shine in a way that is very unique. It may not have some of the flashier offerings of newer facilities, but it has a warm, intimate feeling, with many long time employees and a wonderful management staff that really care and enjoy their work. It is most assuredly not sterile and corporate-feeling, and my mother-in-law has enjoyed New Horizons for 7 years.
