I've been enrolled in the New Horizon day program for approximately a year, and for the most part, it's been a good experience. However, there have been small infractions that have made me select another program for my mental health.
Professional
When I first started I love my virtual counselor Waltra for my anxiety and depression but I didn't like the psychiatrist. At least they let you request a change
Since coming to NHCC, it has been life changing for me. Literally saved my life. I was in a dark place one time. I met new people here, who genuinely care about me. I'm in a better place now. I've built great relationships with the staff here - Chisa, Digna, Karen, Michelle, Chris, Kyasia, Nicole, Zareeda and Vivian are great people! I am extremely grateful for my treatment team. This a great place to come to when you are in need of help.
Whatever you do, avoid this place as much as possible. They claim to help you but they really don’t help you at all.
