I've been a client here for years, but my most recent visit is what led me to write this review. Mariah went above and beyond providing customer service when I made an appointment - she first communicated about the rates in the event insurance wouldn't cover the visit, then she researched options and called me back with a plan to avoid incurring extra costs, all without me asking. I've never had someone take so much care to mitigate extra fees - I'm beyond impressed and so thankful.
I am new to town and was looking for a new optometrist because I had run out of contacts -- I found New Era Eyecare online and was able to walk right in and the extremely helpful and friendly staff helped me right away! They gave me a trial pair of contacts while I waited for my insurance to kick back in to actually order a year supply! I will definitely be going to New Era for my eyecare needs from now on :)
They didn't have glasses in my medicaid budget they didn't recommend me to no where eles so I'm stuck looking for a eye glass place that fits my budget they felt comfortable with me walking out without me know where to get glasses from I wouldn't recommend no one with medicaid to go there I felt like the eye doctor wasn't truth with my eye exam let him tell it, well you know.
I am very happy and satisfied with the doctor and staff at New Era Eyecare. Addie is very articulate and friendly, explaining and guiding me through each procedure. Jonny paid close attention to my needs and preferences for glasses and frames. He was very patient, explaining all the available features and prices to me. In the midst of a very stressful situation (my mom started experiencing a sudden onset of floaters and flashes after >20 hours of travel- we were concerned it could be a retina detachment. We went to the ED on Friday night and the earliest ophthalmologist appointment was Monday), we went to New Era on Saturday to see if we could get a preliminary review.
