I had a great experience at Saint Francis for the birth of my daughter. The only reason for 4 stars is because my assigned L&D nurse was not a good fit for me. She didn’t give us space and was in the room constantly (I was there for a scheduled c section). She narrated everything she was doing and wouldn’t allow us to sit in silence which my nervous system desperately needed. She was very scattered and kept forgetting to ask important intake questions. My birthing and postpartum experience here went great - the staff was so patient & kind. The L&D staff did a great job of explaining what they recommended, the why behind it and my other option available. The postpartum nurses were reassuring and so helpful - when I panicked as I was leaving, my nurse did a great job at calming me and providing additional resources. My only “negative” feedback is that the hospital food leaves something to be desired & takes forever to arrive - so I’d recommend packing some snacks/favorite fo... read more
