Pros: 1) Located in a very nice community (Miami Lakes) 2) New Barn Apts is conveniently close to shops, restaurants, Main Street. 3) Good schools Cons: 1) Common areas around the community needs a bit more attention. 2) Parking for residents may be challenging, especially after hours 3) Having to walk 3 stories, elevator hasn’t been operating for weeks Verdict: Not a bad community, but there are better options, similarly priced

Is overall a nice place to live in terms of location and comfort. However, my experience with their lease termination policy has been quite negative. If you plan on buying a house and need to break your lease early, be aware that they will require you to continue paying the full rent for the remaining months until the contract ends. In my case, I had to pay $2,390 each month until August 31, even though I had moved out months earlier. They promised to re-list and re-rent the unit, but made no genuine effort to do so. I’ve had a fantastic experience living at New Barn Apartments for the past two years. The front office staff has been incredibly welcoming and always provides excellent hospitality. Any maintenance or building updates were communicated well in advance, which I really appreciated. In my time here, I only needed to submit one service request, and it was addressed immediately. Overall, I have no complaints—just a great place to live with a responsive and professional team!
