First they could identify themselves when they answer the phone. Then they could set reasonable expectations. If you are not accepting new patients DO NOT advertise. And how can you not accept new patients? One excuse was they just keep their books open when someone loses a pet because they may get a new one. Another option is to have a waiting list for new patients. I am still sitting here shaking my head over this clinic. If this is my second review my apologies this screen popped up after I posted.
Dr. Knowles & Dr. Shelton are the BEST!!! Our dogs have always had the best care. My husband just had our dog, Axle, at their office recently & the kindness, compassion & care they bestowed upon Axle was exceptional & we could never thank them enough. I also have to say how patient, kind & understanding they are to us pet parents. My husband & I feel very blessed to have these two wonderful doctors taking care of our precious Axle.
Just wanted to say a good word for the desk staff of NVC. They are patient and methodical in trying situations, and I appreciate them. Dr. K. save my son's cat Romeo's life by even taking him home with him during a diabetic crisis, (I could never repay him for that) and Dr. Shelton is a natural with cats as well. The costs are very fair. They are not runner-ups..they are #1.
Our pets have always received excellent care with Dr. Knowles and Dr. Shelton. The staff is courteous and professional. We highly recommend!
I am not a patient there so I can't attest to their work, HOWEVER I called to see if I could get my food prescription filled for my sick puppy. She is having massive GI issues and currently see a vet on the coast that has been managing her case. She gave me a food script to fill ANYWHERE since we might run out in New Bern where we live. Well not at this clinic because they won't fill it unless my pet goes there?? It's not medication it is high calories food. I will pay for the food just like your patients. Easily the best vet in town, they kept Paris all day to make sure there were no further issues and she’s got the meds she needs ❤️
Seems like their nasty staff don't want me to post my opinion too bad for them they are the worst kind of evil. They have lied to me on numerous occasions...I have tried unsuccessfully for months to get my records and they have refused. They pick and choose who they like and if they don't like you they treat you like their worst enemy....
