Dr.Donaldson took care of my husband's long term back issues when it became an emergency situation. She is a gifted surgeon. Very kind, knowledgeable, patient, and good listener. She throughly explained the procedure to him and the aftercare he would need. I highly recommend her - don't believe the negative reviews here.
I cannot give zero stars or else I would. Make sure you read her MyChart notes on you. She doesn’t tell you half of the things she writes down. She is extremely judgmental (read the other reviews about plus size people). She looked down her nose at me when I became concerned about her prescribing practices. When I asked if she was giving me too many meds, she decided to stop treating me. I presented at Community North, unable to sit up or roll over and i was incontinent after squatting and standing on a camping trip. Dr Donaldson spoke to me for 3 minutes to coldly tell me that i needed surgery but she would not do surgery due to my weight. She also incredulously refused to give me antiinflammatory drugs as i would "eat too much" and that i would be permanently intontinent. I was admitted to Community Hospital North on May 13, 2025 I received an MRI that evening. The next day. Doctor Jill Donaldson came to see me. She spent less than five minutes with me. She told me by the MRI that it was not a surgical problem. I needed to lose 50 pounds. She is a great doctor. She did my surgery and did a wonderful job. I have to go back and see her. But it's okay. Cause she would get me back together.
