I presented at Community North, unable to sit up or roll over and i was incontinent after squatting and standing on a camping trip. Dr Donaldson spoke to me for 3 minutes to coldly tell me that i needed surgery but she would not do surgery due to my weight. She also incredulously refused to give me antiinflammatory drugs as i would "eat too much" and that i would be permanently intontinent. I was admitted to Community Hospital North on May 13, 2025 I received an MRI that evening. The next day. Doctor Jill Donaldson came to see me. She spent less than five minutes with me. She told me by the MRI that it was not a surgical problem. I needed to lose 50 pounds. She is a great doctor. She did my surgery and did a wonderful job. I have to go back and see her. But it's okay. Cause she would get me back together.
One year ago Dr Donaldson performed an emergency craniotomy on my 87 year old father after a fall in front of our hotel while driving to his summer cottage in Ontario. The surgery went very well and amazingly my father played a near full round of golf on his 88th birthday 4 and a half months later. It was a very scary time for our family. I’m so incredibly grateful for the care my father received by Dr Donaldson and Community North Hospital.
She did not repair what she said she would. Two years of misery since surgery and she has not offered anything tangible for my relief other than physical therapy etc. She does not spend any time with the patient and is always trying to conclude the conversation so she can move on to the next patient. I believe she breaches a required standard of care expected of Doctors.
