I’ve been seeing Dr Beristain for a few months. Searching for a reason why my body is doing what it’s doing. We couldn’t figure it out but he’s determined not to leave me at that. He’s referring me to someone who specializes in something that he doesn’t in neurology. He’s not chasing endless rabbit holes and leaving me hopeless. He’s been very thorough and informative. I really feel like he cares and wants to figure things out. I do have to wait for awhile to see him so be prepared. But he’s worth it.
Really not satisfied with the care I received. I had several visits with Laurie Black, NP. she misdiagnosed me by using an MRI when a lumbar puncture and eye exam were needed to make that diagnosis accurately. Put me on two medicines for an issue that I didn’t have. Also her manner was extremely rude. At one point I asked her a question about something she hadn’t told me yet, and she said “try to pay attention, Marianne.” In a rude tone. I didn’t Renee that from her. The ladies at the front desk were really nice though.
