I am having negative effects with the generic version of Effexor: Venlafaxine. I asked for them to give me a prescription to CVS caremark for Effexor, the name brand. the techs answered "it is not possible for us to do that, the Dr. has to sign off". I directed them to his notes which, they agreed, said to give me name brand Effexor. They said, it's not possible. I made the mistake, I did not ask them why.
