Best Neurologist I was refereed to Dr Shah by my PCP for leg weakness. It was easy to make the appointment. I also used their websites to get forms and directions. I was quickly put in the room by efficient staff for evaluation. Dr Shah took a detailed history of my weakness. Nice doctor and clinic Overall very satisfactory experience. I was referred by my PCP for evaluation of neurological condition. I have to say it was a very smooth process all the way from making appointment, filling out forms, staff is very courteous. Doctor took time and listened very well, explained my diagnosis, condition. Viewed MRI scans with me and explained in detail. Make appropriate diagnosis and treatment in very professional way.
No recommendation from me It's been a couple of years since I was referred to Dr. Shah by my PCP. I also found him condescending. I had gone to him regarding migraine headaches. He would not prescripe a tryptan medication for me because he believed me to have high blood pressure. Dr. Shah Earned My Recommendation! I visited Dr. Shah in his new office after being referred from my primary care physician for injuries sustained in a motor vehicle collision. The two office staff were polite (although it was obvious that they were multitasking) and efficient. Great Choice? I too found the office to be clean, very attractive and easy to find and park. I never heard a dog. I have only heard great reviews of him by other Doctors. My opinion? He is very intelligent and educated, rude, condescending, and impatient. Are you sure that we were at the same Doctor? He is not above raising his voice with impatience, at least to a woman. Did he listen to anything I said? Very little if anything. Maybe answer one of my questions? Nope, not one time.
Caring I've gone to Dr. Shah in both offices. The first was on the second floor, but I didn't go down any dark scary halls. It was small, but nice and clean. The new building is very nice and clean. His employees have always been nice to me and others that I can see. What does a dog hotel close by have to do with his building? I heard no barks and were no smells. Incredible Doctor. It sounds as if the earlier reviewer may have had a bad attitude going into it. I don't think he/she would be satisfied with anything.Not that there really needs to be an explanation, but the packing material may have been from the recent move to a better office, with even better state of the art equipment. This doctor moved his entire office in a single weekend, set it up, and was seeing patients that very next Monday.
