I think the surgery went as well if not better than expected. At least to date (1 week later)everything seems to be healing well and I am stronger than expected.
He was very easy to talk to. He explained everything so we could understand it. He did an excellent job on the surgery. I had no pain after and no need to even take pain pills. All and all I would rate Dr. King excellent!
Dr. King explained to me what was going on with the pain I had. He said I was able to increase the Gabapentin one day at a time. He said it will improve a little at a time and to hang in there. Dr. King is an awesome doctor.
I had a great experience with Dr. King. I have been having back pain with numbness to my extremities for over a year. Dr. King took a lot of time to explain my MRI results and showed me the skeleton spine so i could better understand what could be happening to me. He is the first doctor from many that really seemed tp listen to me and help to understand everything.
Dr. King was exceptional to work with and made me feel at peace with my decision to have surgery. The staff and hospital were awesome and the results so far have been phenomenal. Very happy with my overall care so far.
My appt. was scheduled for the day after I called, which I appreciated due to worsening pain symptoms. I was able to receive the prescribed treatment the following day. Very prompt service and treatment. Thank you!
Dr. King performed surgery for carpal tunnel release about 25 years ago at CMH in Menomonee Falls. Subsequently I needed evaluation for cervical surgery, but decided not to proceed at that time. The issue was a pinched nerve, mainly because it was manageable, and I did not want to eliminate driving for six weeks. For several years I continued doing yardwork which I believe contributed to physical wear and tear in sync with a family history of arthritis. I had a s/p cervical spinal fusion, it was a seven hour surgery but because I had DR KING I made it through a difficult time. It took months for my recovery. I had to wear a halo on my head for four months and spend time in rehab for 3 weeks. I owe my life to Dr. King. You saved my life. Thank you and all your staff.
Dr. King explained the procedure very well in terms my wife and I could clearly understand. He spent over 45 minutes with us making sure we were comfortable with the upcoming surgery. He answered all our questions without seeming like he was in a hurry. It was one of the first times I have every felt that a Dr. really had my thoughts and concerns as a priority.
