This is our 2nd year here. Everything you need is here, nice beach area, great fishing, playground for the kiddies. Hosts are very nice, great family oriented vacation spot for the family. Nestled between Alpena and Hillman, perfect location for R&R. Hubby says bring your fishing pole. There is even a rowboat and you can rent a 4.5 HP motor. Wonderful people, I've known The Neumans for most of my life, they will make you feel very welcome at their resort! You will definitely want to go back! Such a beautiful spot on Long Lake in Alpena, Michigan!
My wife & I rented a cabin for a week at Neumann ' s Loafers Retreat a couple of weeks ago & we enjoyed our holiday. There is a small beach area that is fun for kids, the lake was wonderful, there were kayaks & a row boat to use and also rental opportunity for a motor boat & a pontoon boat. The cabin had the necessary amenities & was comfortable. The Neumann ' s were friendly & nice hosts. A very enjoyable week & I recommend the retreat.
