I have great confidence in the doctors at UHealth Plantation and currently see 3 at your facility and soon to be 4 come this September. I just wanted to give a shout out to a tech named Ralph in Cardiology. I had an Echo performed this past Monday and Ralph was excellent. He was so very caring and so knowledgeable. He made me feel as comfortable as if I was home. Thank you for being so great at your job and you are a true asset to your employers at UHealth. I highly recommend Ralph if you are in need of this sercice.
If I could give negative stars I would. It is not towards the facility at all but it is towards ONE specific Doctor that the University of Miami is allowing to see and have patients. I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I came into this situation after being evaluated by multiple physicians who expressed concern about my condition and recommended that I continue toward a necessary procedure. My cousin was admitted to the oncology floor in PH 26, where she was cared for by team 1, which included Dr. Osvaldo Nunez and residents. I must say They were amazing as a whole. Furthermore, Dr. Osvaldo N. was caring, attentive, empathetic, and professional. RN Carmen Tolon was amazing! She too was very attentive, caring, empathetic, and professional. He was right from the start. I had lung cancer Dr Dao removed it with the Da Vinci machine! I went home the same day! He is as great as everyone told me. I. Was recommended by 3 of his previous patients!
I was in HealthCare for over 20 years and called on numerous hospital and Physcian facilities. I have never been part of a better organization from top to bottom. Every single employee from registration to the Physcian makes your feel like your important. Very professional organization. NO STARS, ORTHOPEDIC IS THE WORST. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. DESCRIMINATION OF DISABLED. AND LACK COMPASSION. DO NOT GO HERE.
This doctor had me wait for 30 minutes in an examination room to confirm that my insurance would cover the 2 minute procedure. She came in with a full entourage of people with her and confirmed the procedure would be covered by my BlueCross insurance. 3 weeks later I received a bill for $1,500 from Uhealth. When I asked why removing a suspected cancerous polyp is not considered preventative, she would not consider changing the code and now I am out $1,500 for a procedure that should be covered. I’m so blessed that dr tornes is my neurologist,I live very far and have drove 2hours to go see her ,she is the best at what she does I have epilepsy and always had doctors switch me from medications all the time even got pregnant and one doctor told me to not take anything and had a siezure while pregnant,thankfully had my daughter.but wanted another child and a lot of neurologist told me no that it was risky.I started seeing dr tornes and guided me the whole pregnancy with zero issues !
