I'm fairly tech savvy and was stymied when I couldn't get my computer, upgraded with a new motherboard and CPU, to work. The nerds identified a power supply unit that was unable to provide enough juice to power my new spicier CPU. This new build seemed cursed (including power cables that came loose from the motherboard, which itself was shipped with an outdated BIOS that had no WIFI drivers).
