We eat here almost every time we are in Tahoe and it never disappoints. Amazing food and service as always!

Nepheles in South Lake Tahoe has been our favorite restaurant on for over 20 years. After a tough day at Heavenly they are down the street with fine dining and a hot tub too!!!

This is a one ofthe crown jewels of South Lake. A little gem for anyone wishing for a unique experience. Its a local favorite and to the few who know this place would agree. I hadnt lived here in 9 years and came back for vacation and the ambiance hadnt changed. Hot tub under the stars witha bottle of wine and an amazing dinner!
This was the worst dinner ever, my night was ruined when I found a long hair in my salad, the waitress had the nerve to tell me " oh we don't even have anyone in the back with dark hair don't know how that could have happened insinuating that it was mine, I had not even eaten two bites of the salad when I noticed the hair at the bottom of the salad wrapped around some vegetable it absolutely turned my stomach, worst dinner ever, will never go back again and do not recommend it to anyone!!

Normally we would have our staff take your plate back and make you a new salad. I'm sorry if that didn't happen during your visit. In the future, we'll make sure you have a more appetizing meal. -Tim
