RecommendedRave reviews again for Nelson’s from our company event this past weekend! The food was wonderful (wings & spinach dip were the favorites), the staff was great & set up on time despite the unexpected bad weather & having to cart everything up narrow old stairs, & they were so great to stay an extra 30 minutes at the end to allow our guests who arrived late to have time to grab a bite to eat. The Nelsons’s team is full of rockstars! From planning with Mindy (it’s a breeze!) to the actual event day. Highly recommend!
Nelson's was the perfect choice for our wedding. We were working at Miller Park Pavilion which has no kitchen. It was no sweat for Nelson's! The food was outstanding, our late night snack of breakfast sandwiches was a hit, and the planning process was very smooth. Especially loved the opportunity to attend multiple tastings so that we could craft the menu we loved.
Nelsons did an amazing job catering our wedding! We loved the food and so did our guests! Everything we ate at the tasting was amazing and we had a hard time choosing what to pick for our wedding. Overall, the food and service was a highlight of the day for our guests, and the leftovers were coveted and cherished after our big day.
Nelson’s provided the food and drinks for our 100 guest wedding at Ewing Manor in Bloomington, Il. They were courteous and on time, provided quality service at the pop-up bars, and served delicious food at dinner. We chose to do the buffet and did not regret it. Compared to other catering vendors in town, we got a fantastic price, and though we didn’t have a chance to test the food beforehand, it was excellent (especially the dessert!). Highly recommend.
I work with Nelson's each year hosting a chicken dinner fundraiser. They are always very helpful with any changes I need to make, no matter how last minute, and prompt with responses to my questions. They make the process very easy. The actual event always runs smoothly, and we sell a ton of tickets because their food is generous in amount and delicious.
Nelson's Catering is an awesome fundraiser! McKenzie was very informational, very patient (as this was my first time doing a fundraiser of this nature), always prompt in returning my calls or emails and I truly felt she wanted this to be as successful of an event as we did. The rep who ran the fundraiser, Ben, was very professional, organized and kind and the food was amazing as usual! I will definitely use Nelson's again if the need arises! Thank you!
Nelson's was so easy to work with and helped me make some last minute changes effortlessly. The food and staff were both incredible! We did a late night snack (walking taco bar) and our guests are still raving about it. I would recommend Nelson's for all of your catering needs.
We bid on and won a BBQ for 25. Nelson's Catering delivered in a big way! Pulled pork with buns, roasted chicken, brisket, stuffed mushrooms, chicken wings, bourbon glazed meatballs, green beans, rolls, fruit and salted caramel brownies!!!! Plus all the paper goods and silverware and serving ware. Leanne was wonderful to work with - very helpful! The Sullivan's HIGHLY recommend Nelson's Catering!
We loved the tasting that Nelson’s offered and they were very easy to work with! They just catered our wedding and it was great! We got many compliments- especially on the potatoes with white sauce!
