Dr. Dowding is a lovely woman but the front desk receptionist is another story! When my insurance tells me three different times that I am absolutely covered and sees no record of the office submitting anything, the problem is with the office! She couldn't see the problem is from their end! Ridiculous, I shouldn't have to do her job for her!!! Not to mention not welcoming at all for a front desk person! I would like to share that Dr. Johanna Nelson-Dowding & her staff Jennifer went Beyond the call of Duty & took care of a sudden eye 👁️ issue. Dr Johanna discovered a major eye issue called BRVO in my right eye in March 2025. Too complicated to explain. Google it but staff went through great lengths to get me seen URGENTLY by a specialist at the hospital SAH Dr Elizabeth Golesic and begin treatment for this issue. I now have to have on going eye 👁️ injections at SAH but thank God my EYE Dr caught it and it is getting treate... read more

Three stars only…..Johanna is wonderful and lovely and I would highly recommend her. She deserves 5 stars. But the front desk receptionist I found to be very unwelcoming and unpleasant. Also posted office hours do not indicate the office closes for lunch during the day, or at any point during operating hours. However, when I arrived, I was turned away by the receptionist and told to come back over an hour later because the office was closing for lunch…..
Amazing woman. So kind and gentle . Great conversation. Love this office and her secretary is amass well
