It was my first visit to this location in West Plano. The smoothie I ordered was good. Was it worth nearly 14 dollars good? No. I would say it would be reasonable at a 9-10 dollar range. My main issue was the terrible service. I was the only customer in the store. I waited 3-5 min for one of the staff present to greet me. I observed 4 employees in the back cleaning. Like it, but a little over priced for what we got.
Both bowls I purchased were incorrectly made and also were disproportionate. Nowhere near the same quality as other locations I've been to. Been to this location twice now, doubt I'll go back.
This place is such a hit or miss. Today the smoothie was watery and tasteless. The staff was also really rude / dry not just to me but to other customers. Just not a good experience
I have been trying the places that have Açaí Bowls to see which ones I like best. #1 is Tropical Smoothie Cafe because their açaí is frozen. #2 is Nékter because it is bigger and the açaí not as thawed out & therefore runny & #3 is Jamba because their açaí is too melted & therefore very runny.I will not be going back to Jamba. I will be returning to both my #1 & #2 choices, alternating between the two. Anyone know any other places in Plano to try Açaí Bowls? Hit me up in the comments below please.
