Because of their board of members, my kids and I have been homeless since March 4 2024. And why you ask? All because I was not a member even though I was married to a member and lived there since Oct 2018. Always paid our rent and even his back rent. Simply wanted us out because of a gray area. Though when I asked multiple times I was told that i had to wait for membership to come up. Tried fighting them in superior court and lost because I didn't and could not afford a lawyer. Great community of neighbors, well maintained property, great for little ones growing up. The best run cooperative in the city!
Racist tenants get too much control at this government funded coop. What a shame.
