I worked as a dental hygienist for 20+ years in Florida for a well known prosthodontist. I retired from hygiene and moved to the DC area. Dr. Starr recently covered the roots of my teeth which were exposed due to my receding gums. Because this procedure involved some significant work (and expense), I sought a second opinion from a well reputed dentist associated with the University of Pennsylvania, who fully concurred with Dr. Starr's opinion. Dr Starr and his staff are always so friendly, it makes going to the dentist enjoyable! Their hygiene protocols are the best in the business, and Dr Starr is an artist in his craft. Many years ago I had to go to a different dentist (out of area), and that provider called his staff over to see the craftsmanship in my dental fillings! I have been seeing Dr Starr for many years.
