Dr. Kumar is kind and explains thoroughly what he is doing and his plan. His nurse in Plant City the ARNP in Brandon (who injected the gel into my knee) were both professional.
Dr. Kumar is knowledgeable, personable, and competent. I sought his expertise for a second opinion on what turned out to be a torn meniscus in my left knee. Surgery was an option for me because I’d already tried physical therapy for months (as assigned by a previous orthopedist from a different practice) without experiencing significant pain relief or return to normal function. Mine was a Workmen’s Compensation case. And it took a while for the insurance company to approve surgery. Once we got approval surgery went smoothly and I have very good results. After five weeks are good mobility limited pain and progressing steadily
Dr Kumar was amazing from the 1st visit to the last . He's an amazing Orthopedic doctor. From the moment my husband and i walked in he explained everything in detail and made us feel comfortable .
I cannot recommend Dr. Kumar and the staff at Brandon Orthopedics enough. Dr Kumar did a fantastic job repairing my torn rotator cuff, torn labrum, and bicep tenodesis. My physical therapists after surgery all agreed that Dr. Kumar was one of the best and my recovery/rehab was finished weeks ahead of schedule. If you are searching for an orthopedic surgeon you can't go wrong with Dr. Kumar and his awesome staff. I would highly recommend him to friends, family, and anyone who asked.
Dr. Kumar was fantastic from start to finish! He is an amazing doctor and person. My son shattered his collarbone into 5 pieces and had to have surgery. Dr. Kumar put a plate and several screws in to repair his collarbone. He is truly genuine with his concern and compassion. Dr. Kumar is great, along with all his staff in every capacity. I had a FullTore Rotator Cuff with complications, he told me on my first visit with him that the test they did and the pictures they took, did not give them all the information he needed and he would have to put a camera in to explore all the damage on the day of my surgery, then he would be able to decide all the necessary surgery and repairs, he also said it was going to be extremely painful, probably the worst pain I will ever experience and it will be a long... read more
