Dr. Neal Saunders removed my Thyroid due to Papillary Thyroid Cancer August of 2024. I am very happy with the outcome of my procedure and the extra care Dr. Saunders took while excising the cancer growth attached to the nerve of my vocal cord. I am not the least bit happy with the response to the complications that I have after a lymph node biopsy. Almost immediately I developed a seroma and lymphedema in my leg then a few weeks later AWS, aka cording, developed in my abdomen. I have done what I can at home for the situation but it keeps getting worse. The thing is, had he put drain lines in for a couple of weeks ALL of this could have been avoided. At this point I am ready to cut my leg off so I don't have to look at it. I don't want to leave my house anymore.
I met Dr. Saunders today for the first time. I chose him as my general surgeon because of the reviews. I was not disappointed. This man is a true doctor who cares. He didn’t send me on my way to figure it out else where. He was courteous, He explained all my symptoms in a manner I could understand and went over a game plan for care and my comfort. DR Sanders is one of the most kind caring surgeon that you would want in a time of crisis, and I was in a crisis he made sure I had excellent care. Thyroid papillary carcinoma cancer he also treats a few other issues thank you so much DR Sanders...
