Dr Ford is the absolute best! He is so compassionate. I love bringing my dogs there.
I cannot express the gratitude for the care Dr. Michael Whitlock gave to my mother's 13yr old Chihuahua. Just upon hearing her, he was able to determine the cause of her "hack". With his exam and xrays, he confirmed his suspicion there was fluid around her heart. He was also able to explain why Scout has always, since a puppy, growled when touched at her neck and hind legs. We chose this veterinary office based on a trusted recommendation, and my first impression of the front desk staff and veterinary nurses was excellent—they were welcoming, patient, and compassionate. Unfortunately, our experience with Dr. Michael Whitlock over two consecutive visits was extremely upsetting. I decided to come here because of a friend’s recommendation. I have a Golden Retriever and he is very anxious due to past bad experiences by the incompetence of different vets around Lake Charles. I brought my dog twice this week because he couldn’t calm down even with the anxiety medicine, I know that is not the clinic’s fault, the nurses were nice and very helpful.
