Dr. Nehme Gabriel is one of the most professional physicians I’ve met. He is a great listener, asks the right questions, and is genuinely concerned about his patient’s well-being. I had little to no wait time when I visited the Gastroenterology & Nutrition office to see Dr. Gabriel. The receptionists and staff were friendly and answered any questions I had. I’m very pleased with my choice to have Dr. Gabriel as my primary Gastroenterologist doctor. EK

Had rectal bleeding and Dr Gabriel performed colonoscopy. He determined that it was caused by some radiation damage from prostate radiation that I had completed two years previous at another facility. He cauterized the area and all is well. I had seen Dr. Gabriel several years earlier due to a food swallowing problem and he performed a procedure to stretch my esophagus. All has gone great with both experiences.

Poor bedside manners. Ask him a question and he will literally sit there for one minute looking at you like you're a total idiot. Makes you feel totally uncomfortable. He seems a bit mean.

Was supposed to have an age 50 routine Colonoscopy. His office coded it as diagnostic even though it had nothing to do with reported symptoms that went away after taking fiber supplements at the doctor's advice. The doctor said I should go ahead with the procedure and my insurance would cover it since I did just turn 50. His office staff was extremely rude about changing the insurance codes from diagnostic to routine. I was then hit with $1,000 in bills because my insurance said it wasn't coverd

My experience was VERY different. Dr. Gabriel performed a routine colonoscopy. His pre-procedure session clearly addressed everything I asked and even some i did not know to ask. The colonoscopy facility in Lady Lake area was great. He had a written report of results for me "before" I left the facility. A 'routine' mammogram done elsewhere uncovered cancer. His calendar is booked far out..yet his staff scheduled me (after hours) to ask urgent nutrition advice. I highly recommend him.

My primary care doctor had to call him twice for a referral to get in in a timely manner. ASAP was originally interpreted as a month and a half. Then he wasted at least a week with not letting me know the results of some tests. When asked which cancer centers are best for my condition the answer was They are all about the same. His office staff is next to incompetent in Leesburg.

I met Dr. Gabriel while in the hospital and liked him very much. My office followup is a nightmare. Impossible to get an appointment that isn't at 6 weeks out. The staff at The Villages office is very nice and helpful, the staff at the Leesburg is terrible.

Dr Gabriel is probably the best doctor I have known in my 10 year job as a unit secretary at Leesburg Hospital before I retired. I can personally witness to his standing and reputation in the hospital to be the best and the go to GI doctor. He is well known to be very knowledgeable, compassionate, and extremely skillful. I chose him to do my colonoscopy after everybody in the GI suite recommended him to me. Very highly recommend !
