We rented a property from her property management company, we broke a window and were 100% ok with deducting the amount from our deposit. The rest of the property we walked through and checked out, the garage was old and a gate had fallen apart because it was old and rotted, we acknowledged this was not due to our neglect and after the walkthrough of the property we got the remainder of our deposit amount back.
