I would go elsewhere I have never actually taken the time to write a review, but wishing I had read something that would have helped me make a better decision for an orthodontist in Allen has lead me to make this effort. The office has the strangest 'vibe'. I agree 100% that you are made to feel like you are an intrusion and a bother to the staff. Great care from Dr. Neat and Staff!!! Have lived in Allen since the late 70's and had friends my age that actually used Dr. Neat in the 80's. Now my son goes there and is provided great care and comfort. He looks forward to every visit. Staff is wonderful and caring as well! I do not understand about it being cold and unwelcoming. I have never seen that from any of the staff or Dr. Neat.
wascallywabbit Courteous friendly staff with many years in Allen TX. They put braces on my children and me. They always accommodated my schedule with appointment times and I finished my treatment with great looking teeth. If you are looking for a good solid orthodontist with years of experiance, you just found one.
AWESOME ORTHODONTIST!! I am sooo impressed with the care that both my children have experienced at Dr. Neat's office. The office is organized, and the staff very experienced and knowledgeable. The idea of movies running while the kids are getting treated is cool, and they also get "nickels" to spend on gift cards on the prize wall. Most importantly, Dr. Neat is a very warm and welcoming doctor, who genuinely cares about her patients.
Not the easiest people to work with Dr. Neat was nice, but the office staff are not friendly at all. They are annoyed when you call. It is very difficult to schedule an appointment. They are booked solid for a month or two and then can only offer two or three appointment times.
Was Not Pleased We went to a consultation here and like the other reviews said, the office staff makes it pretty clear they do not want you touching anything or making much noise. It is very quiet and cold in the office and very hard to get an appointment. We waited 3 weeks for this consultation only to be disappointed. Dr. Neat is not friendly and does not make you feel very welcome, it was almost like she was annoyed.

I agree there are better places to choose from in Allen The outcome with my son's teeth is nice. But the 2years of going to that office was not so nice. With my oldest son we had a much friendlier experience with North Texas Ortho in Allen, we could not get in with North Texas for a couple of months with my younger son and he was getting older and we were in a hurry so I decided to go with Dr. Neat.
