Took my father there for a second opinion and Karen was excellent in helping him with his issues. Thank you for taking the time and all your help.
Called today for my 87 year old father, his doctor told him it was ear wax but the audiologist ( where he got his hearing aid )said it’s an infection. So I called this place to see if we can get another opinion. The person answering the phone was rude , unhelpful and lacked empathy. She refused to set up an appointment for a 5 minute check to confirm it’s an infection or wax . Would have rated zero star if I could.
My dad brought his hearing aid in for repair, never heard back from them. He called and left many messages and near north hearing centre never returned his calls. Finally after 2 years of him calling they answered and said they don’t have them. Place is poorly run, very unreliable and disorganized. Do not recommend this place it takes advantage of elderly and talks down to them.
This place cancelled & rescheduled our appointments 5 times, the next scheduled appointment we showed up to - they said that they did not have us scheduled for that day, and the audiologist wasn't even there that day to see us. I know for sure that our appointment was scheduled for that day/time... we came all the way out of town for nothing.
My first ever appointment to the Near North Hearing Centre and it was a great experience. The staff was welcoming and warm, they answered all my questions and made me feel in good hands.
