My experience with Dr. Balstad was deeply disappointing. I came to Avista seeking answers for severe pelvic pain and possible hormone imbalance. At my first visit, she seemed irritated and told me to wait a year and try pelvic floor therapy. I returned a year later, worse, and was told, “I could take you to the OR now, but don’t be surprised if you come out sobbing because I didn’t find anything.” I was horrified. Dr Culver takes his time with his patients, explains things in detail, uses pictures to aid in explanations and his overall approach and knowledge is top notch.

Dr Mourelo, became aware of my husband’s medical condition and right away expedited necessary treatment for him. He did with advising us of what procedures would be needed, and recommendations of other specialist services. I found him a very caring professional.
