I needed a referral to see a hand specialist. I went to get my referral from Dr. Gilberto Riveron. He was going to be my new primary care Dr. He seemed very agitated when I said I didn't need any tests done , I just needed a referral. He stated that I should have tests done to prevent cancer. I didn't get the tests done and he gave me the referral. At a later date I went to Bonita Walk in Clinic and was given a antibiotic for a UTI. NCH at this site is terrible. I saw my new physician here and she ordered blood work that could be done at this location but only by appointment. I called one month in advance for either of two dates for an afternoon appointment and of course you get a call center and not actually anyone in this office. I was told that there were no appointments available so I hung up and called again two weeks later for a different day and was told that my order had been sent to Labcorp. NCH's Primary Care Physicians are leaving the practice and if we select another physician within the NCH practice at the same location at Bonita Springs, we are getting assessed a new patient evaluation fee of $133 with each involuntary change like that. It has already happened to me twice in the year 2024 and 2025. Billing is of no help and they are telling that this fee is valid. NCH Family Medicine Doctors are leaving regularly for concierge at this Bonita Beach location often and when a patient needs to see another Doctor at the same practice, the place is charging a new patient fee. This is outrageous, same facility, same records, same exam rooms, same nurses, then why again a new patient fee? Why is the patient penalized for no fault?
