My mom had open heart bypass surgery, staff was professional, caring, compassionate and respectful. The Schick Heart Center was great.
They took very good care of my mom. She was very nervous, but they got to her calm down and trust that she would be okay. Everyone was so friendly and kind.
Terrible experience in NCH ER. Only 1 doctor on duty, at least that is what we were told. 6 hours in an ER room, 3 hours before he was seen by a doctor. Nurses can't do anything for you until the doctor sees you. Nurses should not be blamed, they are on the front line and take all the heat from the patients. Administration only worries about the bottom line not patient care or timely treatment. A hospital of this caliber should be ashamed of their ER!
