Nice & friendly place! Stood here twice, during our spring break visit to NYC...quick easy access out front of lodge to take bus, to the Ferry station...clean & very reasonable price for military their family!!
Clean, relatively inexpensive, friendly staff. Take city bus to Staten Island Ferry and into Manhattan!
This was the worst Navy Lodge at which I've ever stayed. The desk staff was for the most part unprofessional and rude. They messed up 90% of my group reservation. Causing a major stress headache on NUMEROUS occasions. When confronted with their error, they blamed central booking. One of the rooms wasn't cleaned by late night check-in. Another room had a dirty (jelly stain) comforter on the bed. Yet another room's bathroom wasn't cleaned when house keeping came through. There is no elevator. Wonderful! Exceptional room and service at the price for 3 nights less than the cost of 1 night in Manhattan. Easy a cess to buses to the staten island ferry.
Great place not far from the ferry but too far to walk, no roads walkable to it. Otherwise excellent staff and facilities
Great value. First time stay. Lodge rooms were obviously recently updated and looked very nice. Breakfast a little on the skimpy side. Wish they'd had some fruit. I do recommend staying there. Staff is friendly and helpful.
