Not a bad Navy Inn. Rooms were comfy and updated as best they can be considering its an old bldg that has been updated. Free laundry available on each floor was a good touch to help with longer stays. Area was quiet considering its near everything and right by the water for some nice views and peacefulness. Would stay again.
This place and the Navy should be ashamed. This is like a barracks that has never been updated or deep cleaned. All this and they charge $155 a night!! It smelled like mildew and the room was 85 degrees with no AC. The carpet looked like something died on it. The fact that the Navy is forcing Sailors to do things like stay at this place is why people are getting out on their first enlistment. Staff was kind when we canceled the stay. The room is advertised as having a kitchenette. This is what is offered as a “kitchenette.” There are bugs under the bed and roaches inside the sink area where we’re supposed to be able to cook. This is considered the “nice room” because it has AC… I’d hate to see what a bad room looks like. What a joke. I will never stay here again, and will advise all my DIVOs to stay elsewhere. If you have questions about how bad it is… email me. @NCIS, @Navy… do better.
Booked a room about 3 months out. Check-in. Get to room and there is no A/C… Never mentioned during booking, never mentioned during check-in. What a terrible process and lack of oversight. Way to NGIS! 250 years! Woof.
