Dr Kella has been my Urologist for about five years. I have found it to be a very good experience over all. I believe he is very competent and has good interface with all his patience. The staff is very good and accommodating. I know several of his other patiences that also have had prostate cancer and they have all highly recommended him and would do their procedures with him if they had to do it again. All appointments have been confirmed and waiting time is in an acceptable range as compared to most doctors I use.
Dr Kella did my robotic prostatectomy in 2009. Easy procedure, quick, full recovery, no further treatment. Was very professional. Recommend highly.
My experience with Dr. Kella was excellent. I had T2 prostate cancer and Dr. Kella did a robotic prostatectomy 2 weeks ago. I was given a thorough pre op workup, never had to wait long for appointments and had an excellent surgical experience with no complications and very little pain. I highly recommend Dr. Kella for this proceedure! I am healing well, feeling good and am quite energetic already. I am very appreciative to Dr. Kella and his staff for my care and the outcome.
De Kella is very accessible to me and I am from out of town.
My experience with post procedure discharge and care by Dr. Kella were beyond poor. I went in for what should have been an easy procedure to remove kidney stones. It turned into a 5 day stay in the hospital and pain from surgery almost a month out from the procedure.
Terrible experience... the most careless employees....they treat patiente like garbish when you get to talk to them... because you can leave endless calls and they never return them...when you show up for an Appointment they seat you in a room and make you wait 2 hours or more...every single time....they make the following appointment...and when you show up....they said ...you dont have an appointment.. the are careless...irresponsible with peoples life and health....
Dr. Kella diagnosed my prostate cancer and managed the treatment and continues to follow up every six months.
Excellent, very experienced Physician who cares about his patients, gives time if needed to explain the illness they are at his clinic for. He is courteous and a gentleman. His office staff is excellent and has his main offie in San Antonio and also a branch in Floresville, Texas.
Great Doctor - his office staff is completely incompetent. They never return calls and they claim to accept Insurance plans that they actually don't. Treat them with utmost care; like a 4 year old with developmental issues
