7 hours of waiting and waiting and not being seen still
Just went in to get a COVID test. Apparently they don't do any testing anymore, I didn't know that. I took 3 tests at home testing positive, so came to get an official Navy one. But the bald older white guy hit me with the "what do you want me to do about that?" "Take some meds and get better". Thank you Navy medical for keeping the stereotype alive of doing nothing.
I came here because I was bleeding a lot. They took my blood, and they are not going to use it because they say it is a blood vessel. Coming here, taking my blood without stating a reason and then it's not going to be used? They could have checked before taking my blood. Now is just sitting there.
The er is full so there are patients sitting outside, but when an attendant comes outside to call a name they are low and only say it once and go right back inside. If you can’t sit inside, there is a chance that you may be skipped or looked over. I told the window attendant and they did nothing about it. No one wants to be here but with no appointments available and things happening last minute, here we are.
Absolutely a scam of a place thats here to do nothing at all. I am convined a doctor wasnt even on site today. I was there for 6 hours with a active duty member who was straining to urinate and by the time we left , he was unable to produce urine. Numbness in the leg and groin and horrid back pain. He was crying and nearly about to faint a couple of times while leg issues were going in and out ( and yes I updated them 3 times as it got worse) We got there at about 6:45-7 am and left at 130pm and walked out.
