Special shout-out to Corpsman Alexander working in PICU 7/23, wonderful bedside manor, very calm and composed demeanor. Also to the female (nurse) Reservist from Idaho working the PICU on 7/24. Fabulous bedside manor, very efficient and kind. Additionally to the male nurse in the ED, I believe his name was Kenny and the female nurse with short grey hair and black glasses. AWFUL PLACE!!! They need to shut this useless place down and medical staff investigated, they show zero regard for you if you’re an active duty member, from a botched dental process to long waiting time, the navy do not care about people and it sickening
Unnecessary long wait. I was literally the only patient thr at 2:30am and still had me sitting in pain for 2hours waiting to be seen. When i finally got in the back, I saw everyone just chilling and laughing and on thelr phones. The attitude of some of them that works there stinks. This is to remind myself not to go here unless there's absolutely no other option
A lot of people were there for sickness or for pain. My tonsils had swollen my throat shut making breathing difficult and inducing vomiting. Front desk guy looked at me and said “all the sick or pain complaints aren’t take seriously on Mondays…. Yall are probably faking it.” Unacceptable wait times (over 4 hours) and unacceptable comments from staff
I’m honestly surprised by all the negative reviews. I went in last night and was assisted right away. The staff were friendly, efficient, and clearly knew what they were doing. I was especially impressed by the quick turnaround—within an hour and a half, I was out of the facility with my medications in hand. Great experience overall.
