Specialties Best Sandwiches in Salt Lake City! History Established in 2007. The Nauvoo Cafe opened temporarily in 2007 while the Lion House Pantry was being remodeled. The success of the Sandwich Shop was so incredible that the Cafe was kept opened.

The atmosphere, food, and staff were wonderful. The only thing preventing a fifth star is their principled objection to serving caffeine! :-)

We went down for breakfast yesterday morning, and everything was hot, fresh and tasted great! It was my first time in there since the renovation, and it definitely won't be my last. Keep up the fantastic food and service!
