Scheduled an appointment here to start my locs! Little did I know my older sister had also scheduled an appointment at this same place for a retie . This lady was not texting my sister back even though she had scheduled her appointment a week in advance, Instead, she was trying to give me my own sister’s appointment time behind her back! Mrs. Melony’s salon has such a warm and welcoming environment! It’s always clean, and she and the staff are amazing at maintaining healthy locs. They’re skilled, professional, and truly care about the health of your hair. I highly recommend! I haven’t trusted anyone with my hair other than Naturally Speaking for the past 8 years!

I have never been to this salon, but I just saw the inspirational story about Ms Melani.But god always has angels among us. Many young people don't realize that even in 1999 racist laws and attitudes were prevalent. The story of the salons' struggles is inspirational. ☺️
