Scheduled an appointment here to start my locs! Little did I know my older sister had also scheduled an appointment at this same place for a retie . This lady was not texting my sister back even though she had scheduled her appointment a week in advance, Instead, she was trying to give me my own sister’s appointment time behind her back! Very unprofessional, started on my hair late and she kept having to stop in the middle of my appt. I asked for a style (with hair added that I purchased) and at 11pm that Friday she was half way through the style she told me she had an event the next morning and was unable to finish the style and asked me could I come back that Sunday. I told her no I had things to do and I drove 2 hours to get there. Mind you hair and money I spent on the hair was wasted! My appt was Friday at 4 pm. I will NEVER go back to her! Mrs. Melony’s salon has such a warm and welcoming environment! It’s always clean, and she and the staff are amazing at maintaining healthy locs. They’re skilled, professional, and truly care about the health of your hair. I highly recommend! I haven’t trusted anyone with my hair other than Naturally Speaking for the past 8 years!
