Natural Pet Essentials is the BEST animal needs store in Charlottesville. Kim, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and always happy to answer any questions. Kim is also very active in the community helping animals in need. I like to support a store that is locally owned and that gives back to the less fortunate animals.

Love this place and love supporting local business! They are so knowledgeable and helpful about the products they carry. AND their prices are very competitive. Just went online and found that I paid $20 less for a bag of Aqualuk at NP than what Amazon was selling it for. Shop Local.

Great store! Knowledgeable owner. Lots of dog stuff but they also carry a good selection of feline food (that is hard to find elsewhere!), treats, supplements, supplies, etc.
