Outstanding Before coming to Natural Kinks, I admired the clients whom I saw leave the salon and decided that this was the place for me. My stylist, Amanda, is outstanding and I have no complaints. The other stylist are very business orientated and they make me feel at home. One comment I read stated that they were expensive, my motto is you get what you pay for, and I am very very pleased and am glad to pay the cost to look and feel good. Don't waste your time...literally!! Very, very disappointing experience. I read all of the reviews of Narural Kinks before going to this place because I try not to waste my time where others have had poor experiences. The place could have been a good experience, but in the end they wasted hours of my morning and because of the poor customer service I left without my hair done. Would Trust My Hair to No One Else! I had used other braiding salons in the past, mostly African-owned that were frenzied, messy, over-run with children or street hustlers, and loud with blasting televisions and radios. Natural Kinks was the exact opposite! My stylist / braider, Ms. Kim, did is professional, courteous, and personable. I felt comfortable having her in my hair because she was particularly knowledgeable about natural hair, chemicals, colorings, and wholistic approaches to keeping hair healthy. Rude & Overpriced. No thanks! I will NOT be going back and I am very upset about what happened. I called to make an appointment for a wash & deep condition because I had just taken out my braids. I was told I didn't need an appointment and I could walk in. I walked in at 5pm and caught attitude from one of the stylists immediately. She told me to comb my hair out and wait.
