We need to figure out how to preserve historic properties and make them affordable to live in if possible!
I just made a contribution that is matched $1 for $1 to help preserve our historic buildings in America. That's a great deal for a great cause. Whether it is $10 becoming $20 or a lot more it all helps. Letting our youngsters and visitors learn about our past is what makes our country more appreciated. Here's something that actually works....and brings with it jobs and tax revenue (about $1.20 for every $1.00 of tax break). Stop the blatant attempt to provide tax relief to the very rich - many of whom have spoken up and object to lowering their taxes.
I Love Preservation and thank goodness someone is watching over our Historic buildings and making sure they are being preserved. You do wonderful work and I am very grateful that Historic Tax Credits were around when I did a Historic project in the French Quarter in New Orleans. Your organization is to be admired. Thank you.
