The Hematology/Oncology cared for my son with respect. Dr. A was amazing in his short 5 months for battling cancer. She was honest, direct, caring, and very straightforward. Thank You for all everyone did for my son and myself as well.
My son went in for an MRI at 4 months old. He has 2 brain bleeds and Dr Haney (Child abuse pediatrician) said it was due to my child being abused. My fiancé and I never abused him. We asked several times if there was something medically that could be wrong. Dr Haney said no. It was 100% abuse. We got it proven 2 months after having him taken away from us by CPS that it was and is a medical condition that caused these brain bleeds. This facility does not work very well with single parents. The woman I spoke with on the phone basically told me I was in cooperative when I gave her my days off told her I can’t just ask for a day off I have to have time to my boss. Very rude very selfish of us facility aiming to heal children but not work with single parents that work two jobs this is a warning to all the single parents you will come across a. Up to this point after 16 years of dealing with children I am very disappointed with them.
place is a joke!!!!! just brought my 2 month old daughter down to have an ultrasound because she is having issues with her stomach and i am told i cannot go in with her and my wife!!!! I hope every one of you covid freaks has something happen to their child and cannot go in with them. my child will never come here again and I hope people keep there kids out of here! I will not be paying my bill either!
I take my daughter to the clinic in Lincoln which is great but now scheduling is handled out of Omaha. I have been calling for two weeks it routes me all over the place. One day somebody answered the phone and they were really nice and told me that they would call me back that day. It’s now been a week. The people in Lincoln have emailed them a few times for me but nobody calls back.
Unbelievable how in the past two years of his life have been so rocky. Not able to be out and running around, in and out of the hospital sick every two weeks, not able to breathe most of the time. Thinking I was gonna lose my precious son so many times to him being the boy he is able to be now is amazing. Thanks to the childeren’s hospital of Omaha for helping my son thrive and able to be himself. There are no words that can give enough gratitude!

I recommend that any parent take their child to a hospital that really is all about the children, their staff is friendly inviting and very patient. The hospital In the town you live in is not going to take the time and dedication that the children’s hospital provided for my 2 year old daughter. I’m very thankful for their services and their smiles. Thank you 🙏
