Today, I was seen by Dr Allsop with National Jewish Health for the first time, as my rheumatologist's practice was dissolved. Dr Allsop was extremely interested in and sensitive to several ongoing medical issues I am experiencing. She felt comfortable with renewing my Rx and awaiting results of my other medical tests before taking any further action. Dr Allsop was delightful and fresh and didn't seem to mind if I later changed to the physician whom I have previously seen for several years and has now joined NJH. What a woman... read more

I am incredibly grateful that I found National Jewish Health and Dr. Sepkota. Before coming here, I had seen eight different doctors, and no one was able to correctly diagnose what was wrong. My health continued to decline, and I was beginning to lose hope. Dr. Sepkota took the time to listen, thoroughly evaluate my symptoms, and finally gave me the correct diagnosis. Living with lupus for over 40 years, I have seen many rheumatologist over the years. Dr Maleki is amazing! Anyone trying to have some type of normalcy with this illness knows how difficult life can be. Dr Maleki has found the right treatment plan for me as well as referring me to excellent doctors when treatment is outside her field of specialty. The gate keeping that National Jewish is doing is a terrible way to manage patient care. I have a transfer of care appointment coming up with rheumatology. But my current provider is transferring to Jewish soon and I want to switch my appt to him. But The main operator line did not have any way to schedule with him, nor would they transfer me to rheumatology to speak with someone there. Did not get any new information from the neurologist which came highly recommended and did not feel as though she listened or even let me speak as to what was happening. Plus their billing department is a nightmare to deal with. You can't ever get to a person and when you do you get transferred around several times. You leave a vm and no one calls you back. Then they don't want to work with you. I was very disappointed in the all around care fron this facility. Would not recommend it I am sorry to say.
