The temporary filling I had on a root canal that was started years ago broke. I went to Dr. Parshin expecting to have him replace/fix the filling. He advised me that the broken filling was a temporary one on the tooth he had done the root canal on. He told me I needed to get the crown placed on it. We were both astonished that the temporary filling which should have lasted three months lasted me four years. He told me as the nerves were dead I would not feel a thing.
