I am a resident at Valley Senior Village apartments in Escondido,CA. They continually violate the code of they don't provide adequate hot water. I am forced to file a code compliance complaint with the city of Escondido. Hopefully the issue will be solved for good!! The hot water must be 120 degrees so that bacteria doesn't breed.
National Core is supposed to be in charge of renovations and relocating tenants. Instead when tenants are asked when they will be relocated they have no answer. The witmer manor apartments are currently going through renovations which include numerous of violations. Unsafe conditions numerous construction materials everywhere old wood and utilities outside. Ive been trying to reconcile in my mind the practice of using loopholes and weak regulations pertaining to annual rent increases for low income residents. By raising rents above the "legal" limit the company contradicts its goal of making housing accessible, potentially forcing low-income tenants into difficult situations.
