In 1997 I went to NCI with stage three Metastatic Melanoma.I had been given six months to live by the doctors in Norfolk. Stephen Rosenberg, Jim Yang and Christopher Toloukian saved my life. Twenty years later I'm back with stage four Prostate Cancer. Ravi Madan's team is bring me back around with the same success. I'm not sure why anyone would go anywhere else.
NCI- A gift to humanity. My husband has both kidneys and never had to endure dialysis because NCI surgeons had the mission, skill, and funding to deliver the proper intervention. Keep NIH funded.
