very informative site. I have family members who have died from cancer, pancreatic and my mother has Multiple Myeloma. Difficult to watch. Just pray for all of those who suffer, those who are affected by this terrible cancer and for the family who support and try to carry on as best they can. Praying for a cure.

National Cancer Institution allocates only 4% of research funds to our children. Cancer isn't picky. More should go for childrens research.
I met the most amazing Dr. Fojo and his research nurse Maureen Eagerly under the most unfortunate circumstance. My best friend was diagnosed with adrenalcortical carcinoma in 2002. One to two people per million get this disease. After standard surgery and chemotherapy failed...it was DIVINE intervention that led us to these amazing research team that extended her life for 4 years. The most victims of this disease are those coming from disadvantaged families with little knowledge of what precisely this disease is. Education should reach these people in a radical approach because a lot of people are dying silently as a result. Worse if one can not manage private hospitals.

The NCI is certainly a gift to the people of the world. Top notch professionals providing cancer patients with hope. Until I found the NCI I felt lost and had little hope. Since walking through their doors, I feel I have been given a second chance.
