Buyer beware! DO NOT USE NATIONAL AIR! COSTCO installed our HVAC system using National Air as the Installer. They did a terrible job!… Our HVAC replacement resulted from poor craftsman quality during the unit's installation. Ducting - Supply and return plenum. At least one flexible supply duct was separated from the cool-air discharge plenum - blowing a considerable percentage of the cooled air supply into the attic versus the living area. In September of 2021 right after Ida I had a complete Trane system in and was impressed by the installers. In spring of 2022 and fall of 2022 I had techs come and check the system and everything was fine. On March 29 2023 I had once again have a tech come by and said everything was fine. Since that date my system has been nothing but problems. In mid May the system was having serious issues maintaining temperature. A tech came out and said the freon was at 60%. As a victim of Hurricane ***, I called National Air to come and inspect my unit after a tree fell on it and dented the unit. My insurance company just wanted to replace the cover of my unit should be easy enough right?? No, it's not. A representative came out from the company on October 7, 2021 to look at the unit verified that I needed the casing replaced, and charged me $98.00 (that was NEVER discussed at the time the appointment was made). I am a good researcher so imagine my surprise when I chose National Air, who appeared to have such a good reputation and I had such a horrible experience. I own a building in the French Quarter that needed 4 units completely changed. Every time they were schedule from the sales department, to installation to follow up, they were late or did not show. When I called the office they were slow to get back with me. As part of their package they make a big deal in the presentation that after 2 weeks they come back out to check eve... read more

ZERO STARS!!!! My experience with National Air has literally been a nightmare. I had troubles with my old ac unit in June. Someone recommend National air to me so I called them to come out and check my ac. They told me I needed a new unit so I went ahead on and got it. After the brand new $8,000 unit was installed it wasnt cooling. I called national air to check out the problem they came back out. I'm very pleased with recent service provided by National Air Conditioning.. My home central A/C system went out last week one night during a series of hot and humid days. I call National Air the next morning and they made a home service call the same day in the afternoon. Wayne, the service technician, fixed the problem and also thoroughly cleaned the outside condenser unit. He spent time checking everything for normal operation. He did not rush. As a new Homeowner taking over the AC (very new at 3 years old and installed by National Air) and warranted service contract, I have had a AC water backup disaster within 1 month of normal usage. During home buying I had this National Air service, which was the sole servicer of the unit, come out to inspect it before home purchase.
